Purpose of Blog

In this blog I will show how I use online webcams such as those at Youtube, EarthCam.com and other sources to make interesting and even artistic astronomical pictures.  I first discovered this possibility while looking at a night view of a fishing pier and noticed a pinpoint of light which turned out to be the planet Venus.  By recording multiple images over time I stacked them to show Venus rising from behind the pier to out of sight at the top of the screen
